Bathurst – Mrs. Mary Rita Devereaux, 83, of Manoir Brise de l’Oasis, Union St., and formerly of Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (October 4, 2012) at her residence, after a brief illness, wife of Arthur Devereaux of Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Helen (Doucet) Caissie.

Beside her husband, she is survived by one son, Wayne (Eileen) Caissie of Ontario, two grandchildren and one great grandchildren.

Two brothers: Leonard (Blanche) and Ronald (Marilyn) both of Bathurst.

Two sisters: Anna Noel (late Edward) and Marie Kenny (late Ernest) both of Bathurst, several nieces and nephews.

Two sisters-in-laws: Sadie and Edna Caissie both of Bathurst.

She was predeceased by four brothers:  Edgar, Joseph, Alexandre and Herman.

Visitations will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Funeral Home Chapel.
