1919 – 2013

Bathurst – Mrs. Mary Logan, 94, wife of the late Burnham Logan, of Cherry St., Bathurst, passed away on Monday (May 20, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Essex, England, she was the daughter of the late Daisy Allen.

She worked for the Davidson’s and Theriault’s Grocery for many years.  She was a member of the War Brides of Canada, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst, United Church Women and the Duplicate Bridge Club.

She is survived by four daughters: Dawn Yao (Peter) of Bathurst, Brenda Malinowski (Derrick) of Beresford, Frances Morrison (Bruce) and Ellen O'Neil (Chris), all of Fort McMurray, Alta.

10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her only son, Roy.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday (May 23, 2013) at 2 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst. 

Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Heart and Stroke Fund, Palliative care unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation, The Bathurst War Museum or a favorite charity.
