1924 - 2013

Bathurst - Mrs. Lillian Beryl Schryer, 88, wife of the late Alanson Kent Schryer, of Smith Dr., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (June 23, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Hugh and Zella Winnifred (Cheyne) Chalmers.

She graduated from Mount Allison University and for a time worked for the Woodlands Division of the former Bathurst Power and Paper and was a member of the First United Church, Bathurst.

She is survived by two children:  Wendy Schryer of Ottawa, Ont. and Hugh Schryer (Ghislaine) of South Tetagouche.

Two grandchildren: Tania Schryer of Ottawa, Ont. and Brian Schryer of Bathurst.

One sister, Patricia Webster of Edmonton, Alta.

Two sisters-in-law: Margaret King of Ottawa, Ont. and Marjorie Schryer of Peterborough, Ont.

Eight nieces and nephews:  Ken Webster, Doug Webster, Linda Webster, Kathy Morel, Nancy Harper, Tom King, Jill Weldon and Jim Lewis.

She was predeceased by a brother, Hugh Chalmers.

There will be no visitation.  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday afternoon (June 26, 2013) at 2 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst.
