Carthage, North Carolina – Ethel Carthcart passed away on June 30, 2013, after a long illness at the age of 92.

Born in West Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Bennedict Arseneau and Theresa Doucet.

She was a former employee of the Glaucester Northern Light of Bathurst, the Royal Victoria Hospital of Montreal and the Zerox Corporation of Pasedena, California.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lenny, in 1986.

She is survived by her step-son, Peter Carthcart of California.

Her two brothers: Leonard Arseneau (Jean) and Lawrence Arseneau (Geraldine) both of Bathurst.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, namely: Patricia Sargent, Judy Brown, Carmel Daley, Donald Kenny and Fred Best of Bathurst, Denise Haney of Ottawa and Leeona Klippstein of Cartage, North Carolina.

There will be no visitation.  Burial will be in Holy Family Church Cemetery.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton`s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
