1934 - 2013

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Isabella Knowles, 79, of Bathurst, on Tuesday, July 16th 2013 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Isabella is predeceased by her husband Mr. Richard (Dick) Knowles and her parents Mabel (Roy) and Puis Roy, and companion Francis Doucet.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Brenda Haley of Halifax, Bobby Knowles and Michael (Debbie) Knowles both of Bathurst.

Her grandchildren: Christopher, Jason, and Jessica Haley all of Halifax, Cory of Bathurst and Matthew Knowles of Moosejaw, Saskatchewan.

Her great-granddaughter, Kira Knowles.

Siblings:  Lionel (Carmen) Roy of Beresford, Donald (Linda) Roy of Ontario, Barbara (Bernie) Chamberlain of Bathurst and her many nieces and nephews.

Isabella was a kind and caring women who had an amazing sense of humor. Many fell in love with her kind heart and beautiful soul, and her smile would light up any room. She enjoyed baking, knitting, and cooking. She was a very special lady, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Herman J. Good V.C. Branch 18, Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), 187 St. George St, Bathurst.  Funeral service will be held on Friday morning July 19, 2013 at 11 am from Evangel Pentecostal Church, Basin Street, Bathurst.
