Bathurst – Mrs. Mae McKinney, 97, wife of the late John Ernest "Jack" McKinney, formerly of King Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday September 2, 2018 at the Robert L. Knowles Veterans Unit, Bathurst.
 
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Leandre and Malvina (Vienneau) Arseneau.
 
She was retired from Loundsbury’s Co. Ltd. Motor Division for 38 years, a member of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Women’s League, the Duplicate Bridge Club and past member of the Gowan Brea Golf Club in Bathurst.

She is survived by three great-nieces in Halifax and several cousins.

Besides her husband, she was pre-deceased by a brother, Sylvio and a sister-in-law, Thelma.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.   Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday September 6, 2018 at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.
