Harvey Clyde Caie of Janeville, N.B. passed away in his 96th year at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Bathurst, N.B., on Thursday, September 13, 2018 with his family at his side.
Born in Janeville, N.B. he was the son of the late Clyde and Adeline (Peters) Caie.
He was the husband of Hazel (Dempsey) for 71 years. He was the loving father of Ethel Douglas of Moncton, N.B., Myra (Tom) Edey of London, Ont. and Hugh of Janeville, N.B. Cherished grandfather of Michael Edey of London, Ont. and David Edey of Austin, Texas.
Harvey was a long-time employee of Lounsbury’s Furniture Store and a lifelong member of Central United Church, Clifton, N.B.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 pm on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Elhatton Funeral Home, 187 St. George St, Bathurst, N.B. (www.elhatton.com).
Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 11 am from Central United Church, Clifton.
Donations in memory of Harvey may be made to the Central United Church Memorial Fund.
