It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mrs. Audrey Furlong, of King Ave., wife of the late James Eugene Furlong, which occurred on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 97.
Born in Jacquet River, she was the daughter of the late Holton and Julia (Guitard) Hickey.
She is survived by her three sons: Gabe (Michele) of Bathurst, Tony (Patricia) of London, ON and Grant (Debbie) of Langley, BC.
Also survived by her grandchildren: Melanie, Miranda, Caitlin and James. Great grandchildren: Magnus and Brooke. Her brothers: Earl of Jacquet River, Malcom, Gussy and a sister, Charlotte Joncas, all of Bathurst.
Many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters: Myrtle, Dorcas and Barbara; brothers: Clarence, Eldon and Marvin.
There will be no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 25th, 2018 at 2 p.m. from the Elhatton Funeral Chapel.
