Big River, NB - Dylan Michael Steven Blackett passed away suddenly Sunday September 23, 2018.

Born in Thunder Bay Ontario, he was the son of Ryan and Christy Blackett of Big River and Tamara Trout of Sioux Lookout, Ontario.

Dylan was a grade 8 student at Superior Middle School and a member of the Bathurst Red Sox baseball team.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Makenzie and his half-sister, Mia.  His grandparents: Larry and Pauline Blackett and Joy Trout.  Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

The family will receive relatives and friends between 2 – 4 p.m. Friday September 28 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday September 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Dylan may be made to the Bathurst SPCA, Canadian Mental Health Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
