Bathurst – Mrs. Dorothy Bond, 100, wife of the late Arthur Bond, formerly of Brunswick Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Thursday October 3, 2019 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Annie (Hicks) Willis. 

She was a member of the First United Church and a lifetime member of IODE. 

She was the last living member of her immediate family. 

She is survived by two daughters:  Cora Henderson (Douglas) of Cowansville, Que.  and Helen Hicks (Richard) of Belleisle Bay, NB.

Four grandchildren; Annie, David, Steven and Heather.  Ten great-grandchildren; Liam, Heidi, Felix, Xavier, Payton, Caleb, Colby, Olivia, Ellie and Anna. 

The family will receive relatives and friends after 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 at the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst from where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow.   

Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the First United Church, the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
