It is with great sadness the family of Elizabeth (Betty) Aubé, wife of Emery Aubé of Beresford announces her passing on Thursday May 28, 2020 at her residence at the age of 68.

Born in Glace Bay, NS, she was the daughter of the late Angus and the late Elizabeth (Lizzie) (McMullin) McNeil.

Besides her husband of Beresford, she is survived by a daughter, Colleen Laidlaw (Miclen) Kerr of Barry, ON; two grandsons: David and Joseph, a step-son, Rick (Corinne) Aubé of Mississauga, ON, and a step-grandson, Joshua Aubé.

She also leaves to mourn, a brother, John Q. McNeil of Glace Bay, NS, a sister, Miriam (Merle England) of Dartmouth, NS, a sister-in-law, Sharon McNeil and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers: Tye, Brian and David.

As per her wishes, there will be no visiting or funeral service.

The family wishes to thank Dr. F. Nadeau and the staff of the Extra-Mural Program for their excellent care.
