It is with great sadness the family of Henry Murphy Jr. “Sonny” announce his passing which occurred suddenly on Thursday June 4th, 2021 in Calgary, AB at the age of 69.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Henry and Doris Murphy.

He is survived by his two sons: Taylor and Brennen and partner Georgette “Zina” and a special “grandson” Rhys. Sisters: Marilyn (Keith), Joanne (Mike), Patricia (Ronald), Audrey and brother Bill (Jeannine). Several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother, James and sister, Judy.

He lived for several years in Kelowna, BC teaching at the Okanagan College. After retiring he moved to Calgary with his partner.

There will be a private graveside service at a later date.
