Bathurst – Mrs. Jeannette “Janet” Boucher, 86 years of age of Bathurst, N.B., wife of the late Lionel Boucher, passed away on Monday August 9th 2021, at the Moncton City Hospital.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Pyes and Maybel (Doucet) Lavigne.

She leaves behind her three daughters: Angie Irwin, Joanne Boucher both of Moncton and Gisele Quick of Bradford, Ontario.

Two stepdaughters: Claudette Chamberlain of Beresford and Paulette Roy (Bobby) of Robertville.

Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her siblings: Jacob, Ronnie, Robert, Eldon and Rose-Marie.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday August 16, 2021 at 2 p.m. from Elhatton Funeral Home Chapel, 187 St. George Street, Bathurst.  Please note: masks are required to attend the service.
