It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian Joan Lavigne Hachey which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Thursday October 28, 2021, surrounded by her family, at the age of 65.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Reginald Lavigne and Geraldine (Jennings) Lavigne.
She will be deeply missed by her fiancé Adrien Gauthier of South Tetagouche; two sons, Donald Hachey of Edmonton, AB, Darrell (Tracy) Hachey of Moncton, NB, and one granddaughter, Hannah (Joseph Ekstrom) Hachey of Moncton, NB.
Lillian is also survived by her brothers, Kenneth (Doris Alexander) Lavigne of Bathurst, NB; Aurele Lavigne of Bathurst, NB; her sister Shirley Boudreau of Bathurst, NB, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friend’s Dorina Chambers and Sandy Cole.
She was predeceased by her sisters Audrey Lavigne and Barbara Mazerolle and her brother Clifford Lavigne.
Lillian, also known as Lilly to Adrien, treasured their special Sunday drives, taking long walks together, and spending time visiting with her family.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 at 11 a.m. from St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery, South Tetagouche. Donations in memory of Lillian may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
