It is with great sadness the family of Sheila Colwell of Bayshore Dr., announce her sudden passing which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Thursday December 23, 2021 at the age of 76, only three short months following the passing of her husband, Edward 'Eddy' Colwell in September.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Hilda (Gulliver) Cormier.

She is survived by her three children: Sonya (Luc) LeBlanc of Bedford, NS, Michael (Charlene) Colwell of Bathurst and Matthew (Kelly) Colwell of Robertville and one grandson, Spencer Colwell of Bathurst.

One brother, William Cormier of Bathurst.

The family will receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. on Tuesday December 28th, 2021, at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and 1 p.m. Wednesday. Proof of double vaccination, government ID and masks are required.

Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday December 29th, 2021, at 2 p.m. from Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St.

Due to covid restrictions and limited seating capacity, members of the public who wish to attend the funeral are asked to confirm their attendance by contacting the Parish of the Good Shepherd Church office no later than 4 pm on Tuesday December 28th by calling 547-4737.

Those wishing to make donations in memory of Sheila may do so to the charity of their choice.
