It is with great sadness that the family of Jeannette Chamberlain, wishes to announce her passing on December 25, 2021 at the age of 82.

Jeannette was born in Bathurst and was the daughter of the late Vincent and Yvonne (Lavigne) Chamberlain.

Jeannette is survived by four daughters and one son:

Brenda Pitre-Gervais (Jacques), Debra Pitre-Asselin (Michel), Sandra Pitre, Susie Doucet (Richard) and Larry Pitre.

Eight grandchildren: Melanie, Rachel, Tim, Deedra, Dennie-Lee, Andrew, Samantha and Jaden.

Five great-grandchildren: Keedan, Preston, Taylor, Tristan and Reid.

Jeannette’s life was one of love, humor, care, family and their wellbeing. She loved country music, singing and playing her guitar. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting and long walks.

Jeannette’s family would like to thank all the Manoire Brise de L’Oasis care workers and extra-mural nurses for the wonderful care to Jeannette during her stay and during her illness.

Jeannette will be missed and forever in our hearts.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A private funeral mass will be held. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
