It is with great sadness the family of Paul Gilliss, loving husband of Brenda (Logan) Gilliss of Kent Lodge Rd., in Beresford, wish to announce his passing which occurred on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital at the age of 65.

Born in Fredericton, he was the son of Esther (MacDonald) and the late Howard Gilliss. Besides his mother and his wife, he is survived by his stepson, Chris Garratt and step grandchildren: Brook and Logan Garratt. He also leaves to morn, his brother-in-law, Rennie Hynes; his nieces: Cheryl, Tammy (Sheldon) Woodford; nephews: Jared, Morgan, several aunts, and cousins. He is now resting with his sister Carol Lee Hynes.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Elhatton Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022 from 1 pm where a memorial service will be held at 2 pm.

In memory of Paul, donations maybe made to the SPCA, the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home in Bathurst. (www.elhatton.com)
