It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Frank Louis Cox, 91, which occurred on Sunday May 22, 2022, at his home in Bathurst, surrounded by family and close friends.

He was the son of the late Francois and Minnie (Hughes) Cox.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (Coombs) Cox of almost 60 years and his daughter Charlene Cox.

Frank leaves behind four grandsons Robby, Stephen (Kathie), Jeffery and Francis (Joanie). Shortly after the passing of his daughter Charlene, Frank and Margaret adopted their grandchildren Robby, Stephen and Jeffery and Francis was adopted by Harold and Darlene Dempsey.

He also leaves behind several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Frank worked at least 40 years in the tire business alongside Harold and Billy Dempsey who soon become close family.

Frank was a member of Bayview Baptist Church (The Point) and loved God and now God has called another angel home to be with Mom.

Dad (Pa) you will surely be missed by all your family, friends, and Church family. We all love you very much, it’s time for you to be with Ma.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday May 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 at Elhatton’s Funeral Home, masks are mandatory during the visitation. Funeral service will be held from The Point church, O’Neil Dr., Bathurst on Thursday May 26th at 2p.m.

Donations in memory of Frank may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst ( www.elhatton.com ).
