It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Faye Donna Lavigne, wife of Gerald Lavigne which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Tuesday July 12th at the age of 77.

Born in Jacquet River she was the daughter to the late Roland and Inez (Smearer) Rosengren.

She leaves behind her son Wayne Lavigne of Beresford.

Her three grandchildren: Cory, Jamie and Joey whom she adored.

Her brothers: Fred (Barbara) Rosengren of Bathurst, Clarence (Simonne) Rosengren and Ricky Rosengren both of Jacquet River. Her sisters: Shirley Esliger and Brenda (Harold) Kelly both of Jacquet River.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brother Randy Rosengren.

Faye was a friendly and kind-hearted person who will be missed by many and loved forever.

There will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held from the First United Church, Bathurst, Tuesday July 19th at 2 p.m.

Donations in memory of Faye may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
