With celebration of a life well lived, we announce the passing of Marie Claudette Imbeault, of Bathurst, which occurred on Wednesday, December 25th, 2024 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 77.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Clothilda “Tilly” (Glazier) Landry.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Leonard.
A son Richard (Barbara) of Georgia, USA. Two grandchildren: Nicole and Jacob.
A sister, Jeannette Landry-White of Bathurst.
Many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by a brother Roger Daigle (late Sheila).
Claudette graduated from Bathurst High School in 1966. She then spent 47 years in the United States. Claudette was a member of the US Civil Air Patrol during the 1980’s. She later worked for CVS Pharmacy until her retirement in 2000. In 2011 they returned to her hometown, Bathurst.
The family would like to thank Dre. Arianne Bouchard, Dr. Marc-André Doucet, Dr. Jean-Luc Dupuis as well as the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the Chaleur Regional Hospital for the exceptional care they provided her.
A service will be held for Claudette at a later date. Donations in memory of Claudette may be made to the Old Post Office Restoration Fund in Bathurst, N.B. or a charity of the donor’s choice.
