It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Daryl McLean which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Monday April 21, 2025, at the age of 67.

Born in Bathurst he was the son of the late Robert McLean and the late Pearl McLean (Mauzerolle).

He leaves behind his five children: Curtis (Stacey) of Nova Scotia, Serina of Moncton, Stephany (Jean-Marc), Chipper (Kat) and Jennah (Jean) all of Bathurst.

Four grandchildren: Devin, Maddi, Journey and Nolan.

Four brothers: Glen (Glorian), Charlie (Joan), Mikey, and Wayne.

Three sisters: Veronica (late Gary), Cindy (Paul) and Joan (Raymond).

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Jeanine and a granddaughter Daisy.

Daryl served the Bathurst community for the past 32 years as a dedicated employee of McLean’s fish shop. He was a familiar face to many.

As per his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory of Daryl may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
