Eleanor Gardiner passed away at Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, Thursday August 16, 2007, at the age of 86. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Jerome Arseneault and Jane (Doucet). She is survived by: One son; Robert (Diane) Gardiner of Pabineau Falls. Grandson; Mark. Nieces and Nephews: Debbie, Carolane, Christine, Sandra, Kevin, David, Jeffery, Ronnie. One brother; Denis of Halifax NS She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers; John, George and 3 sisters; Catherine, Merina and Lucille. She is a member of the Herman J. Good V.C. branch No. 18 ladies auxiliary. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, August 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church. The burial will be in the parish cemetery, St. Peter Ave, Bathurst.
