Bathurst - Gerald Doucet, 72, of the Villa Chaleur, Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (November 22, 2007), at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Adelard and Martina (Legacy) Doucet. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life. He is survived by: Two brothers: J. Adelard Doucette and Cornelius Doucet (Gloria) both of Bathurst One sister: Jean Richards of Atholville, NB Serveral nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by brothers; Edgar, Joe Albert, sisters; Florence and Bernice. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Sunday (November 25, 2007) at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning (November 26, 2007) at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
