Jérémie Grant (1993-2010)

It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Jérémie Grant, of Beresford, which occurred accidentally on Sunday (May 23, 2010) at the age of 17.  He was the son of Jean-Guy et Pierrette Grant of Beresford and is survived by:

Paternal grandparents:

Aurèle and Sylvia Grant of Beresford

Maternal grandmother :

Estelle Boudreau (late Eddy) of Beresford. 

He will also be missed by many uncles and aunts :

Johnny Grant (Ghislaine Boudreau-Grant) of Dieppe;  Denis Grant (Sandra Landry) of Beresford;  Janice Grant (Marcel Godin) of Allardville;  Gilles Boudreau (Janine Boudreau) ;  Renaud Boudreau (Linda Boudreau) all of Beresford;  Jean-Pierre Boudreau (Lise St.-Aubin) of Dieppe;  Réjean Boudreau of Petit-Rocher;  Jean-Marc Boudreau (Yves Lagacé) of Gatineau, QC;  Jacinthe Boudreau (Christian Caron/ Luc St-Michel) of St-Jérôme, QC;  Ginette Dodds (Billy) of Princeton, C.B.  As well as numerous cousins.  

Jérémie was a member of the École Secondaire Népisiguit Hockey Team.  His team spirit was remarkable.   Because of Jérémie, his numerous friends learnt the senses of the word « Friendship ».  All who knew him will remember as a young man with compassion, always had a smile, respectful, determined and had a contagious « Joie de Vivre ».  His wonderful and numerous good qualities will live in the hearts of all who loved him.  

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Héritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (May 26, 2010) at 7 p.m. from Egise St. Nom de Jesus, Beresford.  Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 an 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until time of Funeral.
