North Tetagouche - Mrs. Léona Asselin, 91, wife of Jacques Asselin, of North Tetagouche and formerly of Montreal, passed away on Sunday (May 30, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Montreal, QC, she was the daughter of late Louis and Rosa (Dubeau) Dubé.

Michel (Debra Pitre-Asselin) of North Tetagouche

Daniel (Lucie Broullard) of Quebec, QC

Jean-Claude of Montreal, QC

One daughter:

Joëlle Asselin of St. Hycinthe, QC

7 granddaughters, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

By request, there will be no visitation or Funeral Mass.  Donations in memory of Léona may be made to a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
