Bathurst - Joseph Roger "Wayne" Comeau, 62, of Middle River, NB, passed away on Saturday (July 24, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Roger and Frances (Williams) Comeau.

In addition to his wife, Ruth (Savoie) Comeau, of 36 years, he is survived by:

Jennifer (Andrew Herygers) of Halifax, NS

One sister:

Carole Arseneault (Bob) of Moncton

Several nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a formerly employed at Canada Post, Jarvis Clark and S.M.I. Industries.

A generous friend, with a great sense of humor, he enjoyed nature, many pet cats, feeding birds, playing cards with friends, Nascar and music.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A memorial Service will be held on Tuesday afternoon (July 27, 2010) at 4 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home, St. George St., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Wayne may be made to the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
