Bathurst – Mrs Francella Roy, 88, wife of the late Ludger Roy, of Vantassel St., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday (July 25, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Elizabeth (Chiasson) Hachey.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by:

Two sons: 

Robert Roy, and

Roland Roy (Angela), both of Bathurst

2 Grandchildren; Chantal and Martin

Several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a brothers; Augustin, Renard, Hormidas, Henry, Emile, Wilfred, sisters; Emelia, Marie, Estelle and Florence.  

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m., at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (July 28, 2010) at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St, Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Wednesday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral.  Donations in memory Francella may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
