Bathurst- Edward J. Martin, of Victoria Ave, common Law husband of Simone Doucet, passed away on Tuesday, August 3rd at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 82.
Born Toronto, Ontario, he was the son of the late William James and the late Nellie (Murell) Martin.
Besides his common law wife, he is survived by,

Eileen both of Toronto, Ontario
A sister-in-law, Maureen of Dartmouth, NS
Many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his first wife Thérèse Pitre, 2 sisters; Ivy, Kathleen (Kitty), and a brother John
There will be no visitations at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held from the Sacred Heart Cathedral , St. Andrew St., in Bathurst on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 2 p.m.
