GLADYS DeGRACE

1932 - 2010

Bathurst - It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Gladys DeGrace (nee Comeau) of Ste Anne St., Bathurst, which occurred Tuesday (August 10, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 77.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna (Arseneau) Comeau.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Norman DeGrace, brothers; Donald, Raymond, Clarence, Angus and Herbie.

She is survived by:  Two sons; Steven and Earl, both of Calgary, AB.  One brother; George Junior Comeau of Quebec. Three sisters; Kathleen Hachey, Florence Jennings and Yvonne Lavigne, all of Bathurst.  6 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A special "Thank You" to Rheal DeGrace for his care and companionship.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning (August 14, 2010) at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Gladys, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
