Bathurst - Mrs. Margaret Garrett, 90, wife of the late Arthur J. "Mun" Garrett, of King Ave, Bathurst, passed away on Thursday (August 19, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.  Born in Bathurst, she was the only child of the late William and Beatrice (Lavigne) Thibodeau.

She is survived by:  Four sons; Arthur Jr. "Tim" (Debbie), Roger (Sharon), Mike (Laurinda) and Stephen (Barb) all of Bathurst.  One daughter; Lorraine Boulter (Donnie) of Charlottetown, PEI.  12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.

Besides her husband, she was pre-deceased by 2 grandsons; Matthew and Corey Doucet. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday (August 23, 2010) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.
