Bathurst – Miss Eileen Lavigne, 87, formerly of South Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday (September 7, 2010) at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late William and Theresa (Young) Lavigne.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by brothers; Leon, Hector, Raymond and a sister; Marion.

The body will rest after 7 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Thursday morning (September 9, 2010) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel with Father Gregory Culligan officiating.  Visiting hours are Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.  Donations in memory of Eileen may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
