Rose Hill, NB - Mark Guitard, 70, of Rose Hill, passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday (September 11, 2010). 

Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of the late John and Lucy (Henry) Guitard.

He worked at Brunswick Mines until his retirement.

Mark is survived by his wife, Claudette (Pitre) Guitard, Two daughters; Christine LeBlanc of Bathurst, Carol Guitard (Peter Brideau) of Bathurst.  One son; Marty Guitard (Lindy) of Regina, SK.  Two brothers; John and Louis (Marlene) both of Ontario.  Two sisters; Alma Pitre (Roger) of South Tetagouche and Dolores Blackett of Bathurst.  5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday (September 15, 2010) at 2 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Greg Culligan officiating.  Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.  Donations in memory of Mark may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
