Bathurst – Mrs. Delia Devereaux, 91, wife of the late John Devereaux, formerly of East Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday (September 21, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
 
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Aimé and Emma (Frenette) Chamberlain
 
She is survived by:  Three daughters; Stella Thériault (Aurèle), Evangéline Cormier (David) and Evelyn Roy (Edgar) all of Bathurst.  Two sons; Lawrence Devereaux (Rose) and Patrick Devereaux (Sandy) both of Bathurst.  Two sisters; Elizabeth Téreault (Pierre) and Evangeline Malouin both of Montreal.
25 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
 
She was predeceased by a son; Wallace and a daughter; Albina.
 
Visitations will be after 7 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst (www.elhatton.com).  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday afternoon (September 24, 2010) at 4:00 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.
Visiting hours are Wednesday from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral.
