Violet Roussel -86, of Bathurst, passed away, Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late William and Albertine (Simard) Ouellette.

She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Women’s League.

She was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Gerhardt and her second husband Romeo Roussel.

She is survived by:

One daughter:  Joanne Devereaux of Apex, North Carolina.

Two grandchildren:  Lee-Anne McDonald (Gregory) of Diamond Springs, California; Kevin (Shonda) of Cary, North Carolina.

Two great grandsons, Carter and Cameron and one great granddaughter, Allison;

Two brothers:  Emile (Martha) of Bathurst; Ralph (Mildred) of Dalhousie;

One sister: Laurette Landry (Gerard) of Oshawa, ON.

Many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, John.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
