Bathurst - Mrs. Diana Payne-Lavigne, 59, wife of Douglas Lavigne, of Miramichi Road, NB, passed away on Monday (December 6, 2010) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.
 
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret Ann (Salter) Payne.
She worked as the Office Manager for RE/MAX Bathurst Realty.
Besides her husband, she is survived by:
 
Two sons, Tyler Lavigne (Brenna) Alliston, ON, Darsey Lavigne (Melissa) of Moncton, NB;
 
five sisters, Mona Payne,
Lois Payne,
Edith May Scott (Kirk),
Margaret Ann Kerr (Raleigh) and
Carol Payne all of Bathurst;
two brothers,
Frederick Jr. (Gail) and
Adrian (Donna), both of Bathurst;
 
1 precious grandson, Carter; several nieces and nephews.
 
The body will rest after 7 p.m. Wednesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning (December 10, 2010) at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Wednesday from 7 to 9 and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral.  Donations in memory of Diana may be made to the Lodge Mgr Henri Cormier or a favorite charity.
