Bathurst - Mrs. Cecilia Legacy, 91, of Highland St. and formerly of East Bathurst, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday (February 4, 2011).Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Doucet) Chamberlain.

She is survived by:
Two sons;
Bill Gallagher (Claudette) of Bathurst, David Legacy (Chriss) of Riverview.
She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
 
Cecilia was pre-deceased by her first husband, Bernard Gallagher and her second husband, Alex Legacy, son, Jerry Gallagher and an infant son Gregory.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday (February 7, 2011) at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Cecilia may be made to a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
