Beresford - Aurèle Arseneau, 78, of the Miramichi and formerly of Beresford, passed away on Tuesday (March 15, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Beresford, he was the son of the late Edmond and Dora (Landry) Arseneau.

He was a former employee of Brunswick Mines.

He was the last member of his immediate family.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Delcia (Pitre) Arseneau, in 1999.

He survived by:

Two sons; Andrew (Claudia) and David (Lyne Godin) both of Beresford. 

4 grandchildren; Patrick, Jérémie, Courtney and Shalyn.

Common-law spouse; Beola Basque of Miramichi.

Several nieces and nephews.

The body will rest after 1 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (March 17, 2011) at 4:30 p.m. from Eglise St. Nom de Jesus, Beresford.  Visiting hours are Thursday from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral.
