The passing of Donna Barbara Harris Wilson of Fredericton, NB, wife of Mike Wilson occurred on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital.  Born on August 17, 1949 in Bathurst, NB, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Irene (Moses) Harris.  She was a member of the First United Church, Bathurst, NB.  Donna worked for UPS for fifteen years as an Administrative Clerk.  Donna will be remembered for her love of the outdoors, especially gardening and the peaceful times spent on her garden swing with her dog, Abbey.
 
In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her children, Kelly Johnson of Wisconsin, Lori Audet-Martel (Renée) of New Brunswick and Mark Audet of Alberta; step-daughters, Nicole Hachey (Kevin Darrah) of New Brunswick and Katrina Wilson (Jeremy Gillespie) of Alberta; grandson, William Darrah; niece, Brenda Jacono (John); nephew, Bryan Harris (Janice) and great niece, Kathy Harris Jagoe.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Gerald Harris and his wife, Geraldine.
 
Visitations will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm; and at Elhatton’s Funeral Home, 187 St. George Street, Bathurst on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.  A Funeral Service will take place at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2 pm with Rev. Blair Lewis officiating.  Interment will take place at Highland View Cemetery, Bathurst, NB at a later date.  The family wishes to thank the Extra Mural Nurses, especially Joanna Seeley; the Dr. Everett Chalmers Palliative Care Unit and Chaplain Roger Richardson for their compassion and care.  For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Chalmers Foundation – Palliative Care Unit.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
