Bernadette Babin, 78, passed away on Saturday June 25, 2011 at Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, wife of Clarence Babin of Pabineau Falls.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Emery and Elizabeth (David) Lavigne.

Besides her husband, Bernadette is survived by one son, Wayne (Diane) of Bathurst; one grandson, Gregory that she adored; three brothers, Donald Lavigne (late Marjorie) (Lauza)of Nackawic, Doran Lavigne (Brigitte) of Little River, Ronnie Lavigne(Claudette)of St.Anne Glou. Co., five sisters, Margaret Chamberlain (late Kenneth) of Hamilton, Ont., Claudette Duguay (late Raymond) of Bathurst, Annette Spindler (Lovett) of B.C., Rena Pitre (late Richard) of Bathurst, Sharon Garrett (Roger)of Bathurst; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Clarence, Bernard, Roger and three sisters, Mary, Isabelle, Imelda.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.   Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 30, 2011 at 2 pm from Sacred Heart Cathedral.

In memory of Bernadette, donations to N.B. Lung Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
