Hamilton, ON – Mary Ellen Murphy, 43, formerly of Clifton, passed away Friday (July 15, 2011) at Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, ON.

Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of Eva (Smith) Murphy and the late Ralph Murphy.

Besides her mother of Clifton, she is survived by:  Two brothers; Dean of Woodstock, NB and Richard "Rick" (Laura Lee) of Clifton, NB.  Two sisters; Marilyn Cooke (Sterling) of St. George, NB and Heather MacCallum (Brian) of Bathurst.  Many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by a brother, Carmen.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday (July 22, 2011) at 2 p.m. from the Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in the Spruce Grove Union Cemetery, Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
