The passing of C. Morgan Ruddock age 92 of Fredericton, formerly of Bathurst, NB, occurred at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday July 29, 2011. Born in Bathurst, NB, he was a son of the late Olaff and Ruth (Gammon) Ruddock and husband of 64 years of the late Marjorie (Morrison) Ruddock.
 
Morgan was a Machinist all his working life with Bathurst Pulp and Paper Mill, a Chartered member of the founding union and a member of the United Church of Canada.
 
He is survived by his daughter Sybil Smith (Tom) of Welsford; son Peter Ruddock (Debra) of Fredericton; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Morgan was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
 
Visitation will be held Friday August 5, 2011 at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road from 7-9 PM. On Monday August 8, 2011 visitation will be held at Elhatton’s Funeral Home, Bathurst, NB from 2-4 PM. A private family Interment will be held.
 
Donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff of the DECRH as well as a special thank you to Dr. Stephen Pond, also thank you to the care givers at Ste Anne’s Court (Wellness Clinic).
