Riverview - Mrs. Gladys Peacock, 69, of Riverview and formerly of Bathurst, died Thursday (September 15, 2011) at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.

Born in Canobie, she was a daughter of the late Eldon and Helen (Knowles) Sealy.

She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Thomas Peacock and her second husband, Alexandre Frenette.

She is survived by one son, Daniel (Dorothy) of Shelburne, N.S., one daughter, Sandra (Kurt) Parks of Riverview, N.B.

Five brothers, Lloyd of Canobie, Clifford (Diane) of Salmon Beach, Walter (Margaret)of Janeville, Murray (Carol) of Rough Waters, Earl (Shirley) of Canobie.

Eight sisters, Dorothy (late Lloyd) Chiasson of P.E.I., Eunice (late Alfred) Daley of Canobie,  Esther (Glendon) Good, Elva (Robert) Anderson, Violet (Darryl) Anderson, Ruth (Ralph) Duguay, Phyllis (Alex) Collins, Grace (Claude) Landry all of Bathurst.

Three grandchildren, Troy, Kaitlyn, Emily.

Many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a brother John Sealy, a sister Velma Silver and one granddaughter, Madison Parks.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Sunday at Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday (September 19, 2011) from St. George's Anglican Church, Bathurst.  Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
