PATRICK KENNAH

1938 - 2011

Bathurst - Patrick Kennah, 73, of St. Paul St., Bathurst, passed away on Wednesday (October 26, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Richard and Melvina (Aubie) Kennah.

He worked as an electrician for most of his life and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 353.  After his retirement in 1988, he was an avid Bingo and Sudoku player and he also enjoyed fishing, boating and being in the woods.

He is survived by; Two sisters; Marjorie Branch of Port Charlotte, Florida and Murtle Pugh of Edmonton, AB.  Godchild, Carl Aubé. Several nieces and nephews.  He will also be sadly missed by his close cousin, Irene Vienneau (Rolly), his companion, Yvette Frenette, close friend Roger Thibodeau (Judy) and other family members.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday (October 31, 2011) at 2 p.m. from Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel with Father Greg Culligan officiating.  Donations in memory of Patrick may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
