Bathurst - Mrs. Edith H. Davidson, 83, of Bridge St., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (November 18, 2011) at the Saint John Regional Hospital.

Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Irvine A. and Frances (Elliott) Brown.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband, Howard in 1993 and only sister Roberta J. Price (Ephriam) in 2001.

She is survived by one daughter, Joyce M. Hope (Bob) of Kyle, Sask., one son, Daniel K. Davidson (Sandra) of Kyle, Sask.  Granddaughter, Lauren A.D. Hope of Kyle, Sask., sister-in-law, Lois Davidson (Roy).  Several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of First United Church, Bathurst, U.C.W. Open Circle, TAB, NBSCA and the Elliott Clan Society.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday (November 23, 2011) at 1 p.m. from the First United Church, St. Patrick St., Bathurst.  Donations in memory of Edith may be made to the First United Church or a favorite charity.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
