HERMEL BABIN

1946 – 2011

Bathurst – Hermel Babin, 65, of Big River, passed away on Tuesday (December 6, 2011) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Edmond and Loretta (Comeau) Babin.

Worked at the former C&S Bottling Works.

He is survived by three sisters:  Bertha McAllister of Peterborough, Ont.,, Vivian LeBreton (Al), Betty White (Edwin), both of Bathurst;  three brothers:  Cletus Babin (Jeannine) of Miramichi, Raymond Babin (Lina), Dick Babin (Terry), both of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by three sisters: Mary, Bernice, Patsy and a brother, Gordon.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be celebrated on Friday morning (December 9, 2011) at 11 a.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. George St. Bathurst. Donations in memory of Hermel may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donors choice.  Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home, Bathurst.
