Ottawa, ON - Ronald Comeau, of Gatineau, QC, originally of Beresford, passed away suddenly on Wednesday (December 7, 2011) in Ottawa, ON, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 51.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of Ernest Comeau and the late Anne Marie (Godin) Comeau.

Ron leaves a void in the people, he leaves behind and will always be loved by his partner, Douglas Sanford; his father, Ernest (Carmelle Boucher) of Beresford; six sisters:  Roseline (Sylvio Chouinard) of Summerside, P.I.E., Pauline (Liette Desparois) of Kanata, Ont., Denise (Roger Roy), Murielle (Danny Robbins), Jacinte (Danny Lachance) and Carole, all of Beresford.  He is also by nephews: Keith, David, Jeffrey; nieces: Christine and Marie Claude; grand niece, Ariane and a grand nephew, Félix.

The family will received relatives and friends on Wednesday (December 14, 2011) from 7 to 9 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home (www.mfheritage.com), Beresford.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (December 15, 2011) at 4:30 p.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Church, Beresford.  Donations in memory of Ron may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.

Ron like to laugh and make others laugh, he lived life to the fullest.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and will forever be in our hearts.
