Albertine (Camden) Boucher, 83, wife of the late Hadley Boucher of Gloucester Junction, passed away on August 6, 2012 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital surrounded by family.

Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, she was the daughter of Rose Anne Garvey and Albert Camden.

She is survived by six daughters:  Brenda Boucher (Robert Kennah), Anne Marie Jamieson (Allan) of Fredericton, Barbara Laffoley (Donald), Margaret Astle (Christopher), Catherine Arseneau (Glenn) and April Ronalds (Elmer) of Bathurst;

12 grandchildren:  Tiffany, Craig, Myles and Emma Astle; Trevor and Amber Jamieson; Crystal and Alex Laffoley, Matthew and Andrew Kennah; Abbie and John Ronalds; 2 great grandchildren: Caleb and McKinleigh; as well as one brother, Ralph Camden (Betty) and his 2 children: Raphael and Tammy of Corunna, Ont., and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one infant brother, Lawrence.

Albertine lived her life through her children and particularly enjoyed travelling with them through the years.  She was also a long-time active member of the Sacred Heart CWL Council and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion.

She loved people, new experiences and new places.  Her quick wit and humorous nature endeared her to many.  She held a special place in her heart for animals, particularly her 12 grand-dogs, and one cat named Tigger.

Visitation will be held at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst, on Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 2:00 pm from Sacred Heart Cathedral with Father Gregory Culligan officiating.  Honorary pallbearers will be her loving grandchildren.  Burial will be in the Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bathurst.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Barnhill for his care over the years, the Extra Mural and Palliative Care units for their work, and a sincere thank you to Patricia Scott for her companionship and care during the past four years, as well as to Sandra Russell.  To the residents of Bayview Village, thank you for your years of friendship.

For anyone wishing to send tokens of sympathy in Albertine's memory, the family has suggested donations to the Canadian Lung Association, the Alzeimer's Society, the SPCA or a charity of choice
