1929 - 2012

Bathurst - James Landry, 83, of Vanier Blvd., Bathurst, passed away on Friday (December 7, 2012) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Joseph and Frances (Doucet) Landry.

He was Firefighter for the City of Bathurst for over 28 years.

Besides his wife, Maria (Boudreau) Landry, he is survived by three sons: Donald Landry (Rachel) of Bathurst,  Roger Landry (late Elizabeth) of North Bay and Raymond Landry of Bathurst. 

6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren. 

One sister, Irène Young (Melvin) of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by 6 brothers and a sister.

The body will rest after 7 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (December 11, 2012) at 4 p.m. from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst.  

Visiting hours are Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral. 

Donations in memory of James may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
