Beresford – It is with great sadness, that we the family announce the death of Roger J. « Wheels » Guignard, 68, of Beresford, which occurred Monday (January 21, 2013) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.

Born in Allardville, he was the son of the late James « Jim » and Catherine (Chiasson) Guignard.

He worked as a Boilermaker for most of his life.

He is survived by his only daughter, Chantal Guignard (Rémi Haché) of Beresford.

Two grandsons: Jérémy and Mathieu.

Five brothers: Fred (Laurinda) of Beresford, August (Betty) of Toronto, Ont., Sylvio and Louis both of Bathurst, Benny (Monique) of Nigadoo.

Two sisters: Albertine Duguay (Pierre) of Petit-Rocher and Adrienne Lew (Tommy) of Detroit, U.S.

Several nieces and nephews, cousins.

He was pre-deceased by two brothers: André, Alphonse and a sister, Jeanne.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon (January 24, 2013) at 4 p.m. from Holy Name of Jesus Church, Beresford. Donations in memory of Roger may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
