1940 - 2013

Poirier Settlement, NB - Gérald Chamberlain, 72, of Poirier Subdivision, passed away Saturday (January 26, 2013) at his residence.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Watson) Chamberlain.

He was retired from the Department of Transportation and was a member of the Knight of Columbus, Beresford Council.

Besides his wife Cécile (LeBouthillier), he is survived by two adopted daughters: Roseline Duguay of Montreal, Que. and Rachel Duguay of Petit-Rocher. 

One brother Tommy Chamberlain of Toronto, Ont. 

Two sisters: Elizabeth Roy (Alfred) and Yvonne White (Roger) both of Bathurst.  Several nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by four brothers: Alex, Théophile, Alfred, David and a sister Janet.

The body will rest after 2 p.m. Monday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (January 29, 2013) at 2 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, St. Andrew St., Bathurst. 

Visiting hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Tuesday from noon until time of Funeral.
